Illustration for leaving gift

Fun Palace

Illustration for leaving gift

I've just completed this little illustration for a member of the Fun Palaces team. This is the third 'leaving' print present I've designed. The colours are in keeping with the Fun Palaces colours which I used for all the illustrations I drew for them and the portrait is of co-director Sarah-Jane and her beautiful cat Little moon. She was there from the start and I know leaving will be a wrench for her. I really like doing these personal illustrations and hope for many more.

Tiny Revolutions of Connection

logo I designed last month

Tiny Revolutions of Connection

I absolutely loved designing this logo for Fun Palaces. I've worked for them many times and it is always a joy, but this one was particularly lovely to do. Tiny Revolutions of Connection is about the tiniest of connections, person to person. On their website they are sharing practical suggestions of ways people can connect a little more in their local community or simply pass the time creatively in self isolation. There are so many incredible and inspirational ideas - take a look here Tiny Revolutions of Connection

This is the latest drawing for them which shows people doing that - sharing skills and activities from their front gardens or a balcony; flying kites, playing music, dancing, gardening, sewing etc. They are calling it 1000 Tiny Fun Palaces. I love this idea and I loved illustrating it.

New Fun Palaces Illustrations

These are some of the recent illustrations I did for Fun Palaces. They wanted me to illustrate both activities that can be done alone or in pairs but also in groups for when we come out of lockdown. Fun Palaces can be held almost anywhere so we have churches, trains, libraries...
